Mansfield Childcare for Toddlers

  • Imagineers - Two Year Olds

The “terrible” twos? The terrific twos! At this age, your child has passed through some of the awkwardness and frustration that being a toddler brings and is eager, assured and ready for new adventures. And our Imagineers program is designed to steer them through it.

But don’t make the assumption that it’s going to be easy sailing. Your two year old may be full of new confidence, new ideas and certainty in themselves, but they still need attention and encouragement to help tend those seeds planted during their first to years into a garden of learning, creativity and potential.

Because this is one of the ages in which children develop most rapidly, their need to express themselves is absolutely critical. Our Imagineers program places a strong emphasis on vocabulary and language development; not just as a learning tool, but for social skills and a strength of character. Not only will their language skills increase, but they’ll learn how to share and cooperate more productively through group participation.

Each daily report we provide for you will update you on their learning in addition to meals, naps, toilet training and daily activities.

What Can You Expect From Our Two Year Old Curriculum?

    • Our Creative Curriculum© program for preschool uses exploration and discovery as a learning tool and is designed to encourage confidence, creativity and problem solving skills in your two year old. Social skills, math, problem solving, art and even technology are combined throughout each day to ensure a balance of nurturing, learning, curiosity and fun.
    • Instruction will be even more individualized, providing teachers to adequately meet the needs of each student and allow them to observe, assess and share in their learning. It’s not just our educators who teach. It’s your children as well.
    • The Beginner’s Bible is our introductory biblical curriculum, combining interactive songs of worship, biblical stories and hands-on activities designed to instill an early understanding of the gospels in children.
